You can even visit the live dig at The Ness of Brodgar.
We had a lovely peaceful stay . Great accommodation and we will recommend him to our friends.
This is a beautiful, quiet place which is still close to everything. Alexander was very helpful. We would recommend for a wonderful stay on Orkney.
Alexanders place is ideally situated for all the attractions mainland Orkney offers as well as ferries to Hoy and other islands. Stromness and Kirkwall are in easy reach by car.
Very nice quiet and accessible apartment with a vehicle. 15 min walk from the village. Bathroom “en suite” very convenient and nice. Very happy with our stay!
Comfortable, cosy, very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Quiet location but conveniently close enough to Stromness if you have a car. Great base to explore the west mainland.
This was a lovely apartment and ideal for what we needed (2 couples away). Great to each have our own en suite shower room. These converted buildings made a great use of space – everything we needed and a great location- able to walk into Stromness in about 20 minutes.
Fantastic communication from host throughout
This was a perfect place for us to stay. It was just 5 minutes from Stromness but in the beautiful countryside.
The accommodation itself was warm and comfortable.
We loved it there.
